Insulating the crawl-space vent


In the fall: 

  • Open the InsulVent door.  Pull Hard. It is intentionally hard to open.
  • Insert the block of insulation and close the door firmly, making sure it is completely latched.

In the spring: 

  • Open the InsulVent door, remove the block of insulation and reclose the door firmly.
  • Store the insulation block for use the following fall.
